Payment

PayPal is our preferred method of payment. For purchases made by Credit Card please be advised that we charge a 2.5% transaction fee plus $0.50 per transaction plus GST. Should you wish to avoid this fee we happily accept cash or bank transfer. Visa and MasterCard accepted only.

Lay buys: we do not accept lay buys however may be able to offer a suitable payment plan with holding deposit which is assessed on a case by case basis. Shipping

We happily post interstate, nationally and overseas, however delivery costs and shipping times vary.

Australia wide shipping; flat rate $40 AUD, registered and online tracking, delivery 7-10 days depending on location. Will not deliver to PO Boxes. Signature required upon delivery. For queries or special requests please email us.

International shipping; please allow 3-5 weeks for delivery; flat rate $65 AUD, registered and online tracking. Please note that once a package has left Australia the package is no longer tracked. All buyers please note that you are responsible for all importation fees and taxes imposed by your country. For queries or special requests please email us.

Please let us know if you would like to include insurance to the shipping of your item prior to purchasing. The Barefaced Bride does not take responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

Returns Policy

*PLEASE NOTE ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL

Please choose carefully as we do not offer returns or exchanges on items purchased. Ready to wear gowns are non refundable for change of mind purchases. We also have a ‘no refund’ policy on 50% holding deposits made.

We carefully detail product descriptions on each garment and are happy to provide specific measurements if needed.

We will specify any imperfections or repairs needed to vintage items in the product description, however please note that due to the aged nature of vintage clothing this should be factored into your purchase.

We will happily recommend and refer you to a bridal alteration specialist in the Sydney-wide area should you need any modifications to your purchase.

*SIZING AND FIT
Please read the vintage sizing information below to ensure your item is a successful fit for you. If you are still uncertain about the sizing or fit of an item please contact us directly and we will happily provide you with additional photos or information.

We highly recommend measuring yourself with dressmaker’s measuring tape prior to purchasing.

*VINTAGE SIZING
Please note that vintage garments are a significantly different fit than clothing made today. Modern clothing is generally cut larger to cater to a wider range of women and sizing, while vintage clothing is cut much more tailored and closer to the figure. Therefore extra care is needed when wearing vintage clothing given the nature of the aged fabric and more tailored construction of the garment.

Borrowing Gowns

Wedding gowns or bridal accessories taken on loan for the purpose of styled photo shoots or other are to be treated with the utmost care. All responsibility for the maintenance and care of all items remain with the borrower whilst in their care. The borrower will be solely responsible for any damage to The Barefaced Bride’s property and will need to cover any dry cleaning costs should in the unlikely event this occur. In the event any item is lost or irreplaceable the borrower will need to cover the listing price of the item as stated on The Barefaced Bride’s web site.
